Calorie Burning Tips

These are some habits that you can apply in your day to day life which can increase your metabolism right away. Small steps can make a huge difference in long time if you continue to do so. You must have heard stories about people who lost many pounds only by switching to diet soda or by walking a few minutes daily that is why small habits are very important that can contribute to a huge difference and your metabolism can be increased over time. You weight will be lost over time ad you will see huge difference in your body. Here are some tips which you can follow in your daily life:

 

1.) Move your body more: In this step, you just have to move your body extra daily without any reason. You just have to find ways so that you move your body and burn some calories. In place of using elevator, use stairs, if you want to purchase some groceries, don’t order them online but go to the store and try to move more. In this way find your own ways to move your body extra, and you will notice just by following these small habits, you will start burning some extra calories.

 

2.) Eat little and more often: In place of eating 3 big meals in a day, try to eat 6 meals but small and more often, in this way you give your body more time to digest the food and your metabolism burns fast if you follow this as compared to eating larger and less frequent meals. You should eat in every 2-4 hours but small meals, when you eat small meals, your body continuously works to digest and absorb food which requires energy.

 

3.) Eat Fat: All fats are not bad. There are two types of fats known as good fat and bad fat. You should focus more on consuming good fats as they are good for your body. They not only tastes good but our body needs them to work efficiently. By eating some servings of good fats daily you actually increase calorie burning potential of the body. Foods like flaxseed oil, hempseed oil, olive oil, avocados, salmon, albacore tuna, nuts and seeds, you should include all these foods in your daily diet.

 

4.) Drink cold water: Studies shows that your body might expand more calories if you drink more of cold water as compared to the temperature of your body. And drinking more water keeps your body hydrated and helps your body to improve the metabolism level.

 

5.) Do weight training: Weight training increases your metabolism in many ways, by lifting weights, you develop muscle tissues and muscle tissues are active metabolically so it needs calories even while resting and it increases fat burning enzymes in your body.

 

6.) Spice up: Eating hot spices might speed up your metabolism level. But it does not mean you should start eating hot food on a daily basis. Just a teaspoon of cinnamon can do the job as it boosts metabolism and keep your blood sugar levels in balance. You can just add in your morning tea or coffee and see the magic.

 

7.) Add more protein to your diet: Protein needs some more complex chemical breakdown by your body for digestion and to be used as fuel. For example 100 calories of protein might take up to 30 calories to process. Protein also takes some more time to digest and it helps in stabilising blood sugar for longer period of time and this helps you to not overeat in the day later and that is why it is always suggested that you should include protein in all meals.
